Rhode is Hiring a Graphic Designer (Los Angeles/Hybrid)

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing, the Graphic Designer will serve as the brand's primary visual storyteller by translating rhode's brand voice into compelling imagery. The Graphic Designer will craft visuals for all channels, including site, e-mail and social media channels, in an effort to engage and captivate rhode's target audience and consumer base.

Hybrid schedule: Must be willing to work 3 days a week in office.

Compensation: $80,000-$95,000

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and relevant design tools. 

  • Organized with a strong attention to detail.

  • Proactive, self-starter mentality to act promptly with a sense of urgency.

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and project management skills.

  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.

  • Enjoys problem solving.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of college education or certification in relevant field

  • BA or BS preferred or equivalent

  • At least 2 years of graphic design experience at a fast paced brand

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Elevate and maintain the existing visual brand across all areas including the website, social media channels and packaging. 

  • Concept and create high quality visual assets that speak to our target audience and meet the brand's high visual standards. 

  • Work closely with the Marketing, Creative and Ecommerce teams to develop design concepts that adequately reflect the desired messaging and intent. 

  • Create appealing marketing campaign materials with consistent visual language.

  • Ensure all designs are optimized for use on digital platforms including the website, social media, paid media and email marketing. 

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, industry developments, and competitor analysis to ensure the company's visual assets remain fresh, modern, and relevant.

  • Maintain a well-organized file system and archive of design assets, ensuring easy access and retrieval for future reference or modifications.

  • Review and proofread designs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines, as well as resolve any design-related issues or errors.

  • Manage deadlines and detailed specifications for various projects at a time.

  • Harmonize with other creative contributors (ecomm, devs, ux/ui, designers, photographers, videographers, retouchers, art directors, copywriters, social media and marketing team) to create amazing work.

  • Attend weekly cross-functional meetings to propel projects forward. Take the lead if need be.

  • Take a proactive approach to project challenges in terms of design needs, working to predict and mitigate roadblocks.

  • Other duties as assigned.
