Proenza Schouler is Hiring a Graphic Designer (NYC/Hybrid)
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for all Ecommerce creative execution and content marketing including imagery/video, digital marketing content, and website design mockups. The Graphic Designer will balance the seasonal and evergreen brand vision with strategic efforts to drive online revenue through visual storytelling.
The targeted base salary range for this role is $62,000-$72,000.

Proenza Schouler is a New York based womenswear and accessories brand founded in 2002 by designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. The duo met while studying at Parsons School of Design, eventually collaborating on their senior thesis which became their first collection as Proenza Schouler. Named after the designers’ mothers’ maiden names, the collection was bought in its entirety by Barneys New York.
REQUIREMENTS
Expert in in Adobe Suite, particularly in Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and InDesign. Copywriting skills are preferred.
Fluent knowledge of Figma to develop UI/UX designs and communicate with external developers.
Passionate about understanding the E-commerce customer and finding ways to connect with them visually and verbally throughout their purchase journeys.

A self-starter with the ability to problem solve and brainstorm in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and act with a strong sense of accountability.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Ecommerce Photography Production Support:
Coordinate samples and products for photoshoots for all E-commerce and marketplace imagery. Manage shot lists, sample requests, and scheduling with studio and third-party partners. Act as the main liaison with marketplace partners, ensuring that sample pulls are complete, and 100% of products are properly uploaded and reflected on partner sites.
Responsible for all post-production retouching processes, imagery delivery timelines, organization of imagery on internal servers, and communicating imagery timelines with internal teams.
Manage post production retouching budget and approve invoices.
Maintain and develop updates for E-commerce imagery standards - including lighting, posing, styling, and view/upload guidelines.
Website Content Management:
Conduct market research, design, and implement all UI and UX updates for website.
Design and upload all website content in CMS.
Upload all ecommerce imagery to site through Matrixify and Farfetch.
Coordinate site flips / launches to align with marketing calendar and ads for 360 marketing integration across all platforms.
Act as primary liaison with tech team to troubleshoot imagery issues on site.
Digital Marketing:
Design and develop all content for promotional and transactional emails in line with overarching departmental objectives. QC Email proofs pre-launch.
Produce all digital marketing assets and direct mail campaigns, including but not limited to Email, SMS, Social Ads, Retargeting, and Display advertising.
Collaborate with Digital Manager to A/B test assets across all digital marketing channels.
Coordinate A/B tests and email segments with Digital Associate, develop new campaigns to improve traffic and conversion.
Assist with coordination of digital marketing calendar.
Land dates with other internal teams for key digital launches (sale start/end, season launch, special projects (i.e. store opening)).
