The entirety of Paris Fashion Week felt like a debutante being introduced into the top echelon of society. Rather in this case it was a collection of designers making their debut as the newly appointed creative directors for Loewe, Chanel, Dior, Balenciaga. As the City of Lights is the last stop for fashion’s big circus, stylists really do pull all the stops to finish off this month. A majority of those in attendance to view the new collections are less local, but more so the highest level of fashion’s A-list. Basically anyone with a current A24 film premiere, a #1 Netflix film or series and music people. Naturally there are the legends, those who come strictly for Rick Owens and with that comes the goths of a higher power meets a little bit of Comme des Garçons. Even if you’re only there because you’re forced under contract, Paris remains to be the fashion hoopla that serves the best for last and never fails to give.
