STAUD is Hiring an Illustrator/Graphic Designer (LA/Hybrid)

STAUD has an opening for an Illustrator/Graphic Designer, working a hybrid schedule out of their West Hollywood office. The Illustrator & Graphic Designer is responsible for creating artwork utilizing both analog (paint, pencil, pastels, collage, pen & ink, etc.) and digital means. The role reports to the Senior Graphic Designer and will collaborate and act as a bridge between Accessories and RTW, ensuring the graphic & print direction is cohesive and thoughtfully developed across the board.

Annual salary: $80-90k

REQUIREMENTS

Associate or bachelor’s degree in an apparel related degree from a fashion school preferred, High School diploma or GED required
Minimum 3 – 5 years of graphic design and/or illustration experience, with experience specifically in fashion a plus.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Strong knowledge of graphic design with awareness of the competitive market
Strong presentation and communication skills
Excellent verbal English communication and customer service skills with ability to communicate and interact with people of all levels in a confident and professional manner.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure, must be able to multi-task, prioritize work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for design, layout, and formatting of illustrated graphic materials, integrating typographic, photographic, illustrative, and other elements for CRM and DTC channels, with predominant focus on Accessories & RTW.
Responsible for management of graphics/illustration workflow including execution, upload, edits, and creation of print-ready files and formats.
Takes direction from Art Director, Senior Graphic Designer, and Accessories/RTW Design team.
Execute graphic design work according to the visual language of STAUD.
Verbally present graphic/illustration ideas and details with clarity.
Ensure proper handover of graphics/illustrative artworks to development.
Responsible for high-level research, references, and presentations for all special projects related to STAUD.
