Clare V is Hiring P/T Graphic Designer (L.A.)

After noticing a lack of functional yet stylish laptop cases while working as a journalist for French TV, Clare decided to create her own line of handbags and accessories. Over time, Clare’s been able to cultivate an identifiable aesthetic that's all her own and has been recognized worldwide by influencers, tastemakers, celebrities and bloggers, who support and wear the line. Clare’s strong connection to France, where she spends a significant amount of time each year with her French husband and son, remains at the core of the brand, with signature elements visible within every collection.

Clare V. is seeking a part time graphic designer to join growing team in Frogtown, Los Angeles for 3 days per week. This is a contract to hire role and reports to the Art Director. Looking for an upbeat, self-starter with a positive outlook to help expand branded content for print, web and marketing content. 


  • Minimum 3 years Graphic Design experience
  • Highly Proficient/Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design)
  • Strong skills in color theory, typography, layout and composition required
  • Photo editing experience required
  • Working knowledge of graphic design history and art history
  • Previous experience at an agency or high-end fashion brand preferred
  • UX Design and motion graphics experience a plus
  • Must be LA based and able to work in the Los Angeles headquarters 3 days per week
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Organized, detail oriented & proactive with self-starter approach to managing workload, but also take direction & critique well; Will work closely with Founder
  • Resourceful, can-do attitude that thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment


  • Assist Art Director in creating marketing & branded materials across multiple channels including digital, print, product packaging, event invites, direct mail
  • Create layouts for updates and/or new content pages on
  • Assist with the development and output of digital marketing materials, including email, website content, social media materials
  • Assist with the development and output of marketing content for print, such as postcards, direct mail and marketing posters
  • Assist with organizing and archiving all visual and graphic assets
  • Assist with collateral updates across print and web
  • Assist with any presentation needs and other projects as assigned
  • Research new trends and techniques, platforms and/or tools
  • Maintain consistency in brand aesthetic across multiple brand channels
