Stand Studio is Hiring a Design Intern (Stockholm,Sweden)

Stand Studio is looking for a Design Intern to join our team in Stockholm for Spring 2026. We aim for a start in January/February 2026. Are you a fashion student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience within both product design and pattern? Then you might be the right fit for us. 

As a Design Intern at Stand Studio, you will support the daily work of both our design and pattern teams. A key part of the role is creating high-quality technical flat sketches in Adobe Illustrator, assisting with tech packs, and helping manage samples throughout the development process. You will also play an important role in keeping the studio organized, maintaining structure among garments and fabric swatches.

Please note that the internship is unpaid and must be a part of a university program.

STAND STUDIO was founded by Nellie Kamras in 2014 from the idea to meet a demand for expertly designed high fashioned leather pieces at an accessible price. Since then the brand has expanded to deliver seasonal collections mainly in leather and faux fur, but also in wool, vegan leather and other new sustainable materials. REQUIREMENTS

• A fashion student or recent graduate (internship must be part of a course or program)

• Skilled and confident in Adobe Illustrator, especially in creating accurate technical drawings

• Organized, structured, and detail-oriented — with a natural eye for keeping order in a creative environment

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Eager to learn and open to feedback

• Basic understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and technical terminology

• Fluent in English

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the design and technical design teams throughout the full development process

• Create technical flat sketches in Adobe Illustrator, update tech packs, and prepare collection

overviews

• Support with style comments and updates to technical documentation

• Measure samples, update measurement charts, and manage incoming/outgoing samples

• Organize and maintain studio order, including structuring garments, fabric and material swatches,

samples, and archive pieces

• Research trends, colors, fabrics, and design references

• Assist during fittings, photo shoots, and general day-to-day studio tasks

• Support with administrative duties and studio organization
