& Other Stories is Hiring a Jr Print Designer - Temp (Stockholm, Sweden)

This is a full time temporary contract for six months based at our Head Office in Stockholm

At & Other Stories, every print tells a story. As a Junior Designer print, you will help shape the visual identity of our collections by creating expressive prints that inspire our global customer. From initial artwork to final placement, you will play an essential role in bringing our brand’s narrative to life.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Print Design or a related field. 

  • Some experience in apparel print design. 

  • Solid understanding of colour theory, print techniques, and textile materials. 

  • Knowledge of garment construction and how prints interact with silhouette. 

  • Experience in trend research and a strong eye for fashion and aesthetics. 

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop—and CLO 3D is a strong plus. 

  • Fluency in English; additional languages are beneficial. 

  • Creative and detail-oriented with a passion for fashion. 

  • Visionary and curious – eager to push boundaries and explore new ideas. 

  • Communicative and collaborative – building alignment across teams. 

  • Resilient and adaptable – thriving in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines. 

  • Open to feedback and innovation, with a strong focus on sustainability and commercial impact. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of the assortment team and collaborate with the senior pattern designer, buyer, junior buyer and pattern maker.

  • Support the senior print and atelier designers in developing seasonal print concepts that align with our brand DNA. 

  • Create original artwork, repeat patterns, placements, and textile graphics across categories. 

  • Transform trend insights into prints that feel modern, relevant, and commercial. 

  • Prepare print files for production, ensuring accuracy in colour, technique, and execution. 

  • Participate in fittings and contribute to ensuring that prints integrate seamlessly with silhouette, materials, and overall design. 

  • Conduct research on print, colour and cultural trends to inform seasonal directions. 

  • Work proactively with timelines, contributing to a smooth and efficient design process. 

  • Collaborate closely with design teams, buyers, and production to secure cohesive and high‑quality collections.
