Mejuri is Hiring a Graphic Designer - 6 Month Contract (NYC)
This role currently has a base pay range of $50-80K per annum based on a candidate’s experience and qualifications.
As a graphic designer you will support our global creative team in producing high-quality, on-brand assets across every customer touchpoint. This role is ideal for a designer who is AI-native, highly detail-oriented, and energized by leveraging and keeping up with the new creative tools for both optimization and proof-of-concept, without compromising craft and creativity.
You’ll work at the intersection of design, technology, and post-production, helping scale creative output across email, web, social, retail, and internal channels by using both AI-powered tools and standard platforms to adapt, iterate, and optimize visual assets.

REQUIREMENTS
1–3 years of graphic design experience (internships and freelance count).
Strong foundation in digital design and layout + a sharp eye for typography, spacing, and visual consistency.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Figma
Hands-on experience using AI or generative tools in a creative workflow — this could be through: School projects, Internships or Personal work, Freelance or experimental projects
Comfort working in high-volume, fast-paced production environments
Proficiency using and experimenting with AI design tools (e.g., generative imagery, layout assistance, asset versioning, automation).
Experience working with email and digital templates (Klaviyo, Iterable or like platforms is a strong plus)
A desire to learn, test, and push new tools rather than relying only on traditional workflows
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
RESPONSIBILITIES
Use AI-powered creative tools (e.g., Gemini, Klue, generative image and editing tools) to rapidly produce, modify, and iterate on visual assets — such as: Adding or swapping products, changing backgrounds or environments, creating alternate angles, crops, or compositions, ddapting assets for different channels or formats
Create and adapt assets across all channels, including:
Email / CRM, Paid and organic social, Website, In-store and print, Presentations and internal tools
Translate hero creative into high-volume output by taking a single creative direction and generate the dozens of variations needed for different products, placements, regions, or campaigns — quickly, accurately, and on-brand.
Support modular design systems by helping to build and maintain templates, layouts, and component systems (for email, social, web, etc.) so creative can scale without sacrificing quality.
Partner with senior creatives and marketers to receive direction, apply it consistently, and ask smart questions to ensure every asset aligns to brand, performance goals, and creative intent.
Maintain brand consistency at speed by use brand guidelines, design systems, and visual standards to ensure all AI-assisted and manually created work feels cohesive and premium.
Stay curious and current by continuously exploring new creative and AI tools, workflows, and trends to help the team work faster and smarter.
