Marc Jacobs is Hiring a Graphic Designer - Creative Services (NYC)

The compensation for this position ranges from $65,000 - $75,000 annually. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience.

Marc Jacobs is seeking a world-class Graphic Designer to help shape and execute the visual language of the brand across marketing, digital, social, retail, CRM, and media. This role is for a designer with exquisite taste, luxury fashion literacy, and deep cultural fluency — someone who doesn’t just design assets but builds visual meaning.

You will operate at the intersection of fashion, art, culture, and technology, translating the brand’s creative vision into beautifully crafted, modern, and emotionally resonant design across every consumer touchpoint.

This is a role for someone who lives and breathes design — not just during office hours.

This role is based in our New York City (SoHo) headquarters.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4–8+ years of professional graphic design experience

  • Background in luxury fashion, premium lifestyle, or cultural brands

  • Expert-level fluency in:

    • Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

    • Figma (or equivalent digital layout tools)

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Digital-first design

    • E-commerce visuals

    • Social-native formats

  • Working knowledge of:

    • AI-powered creative tools (image, layout, ideation)

  • A portfolio that demonstrates:

    • Elevated taste

    • Fashion authority

    • Conceptual thinking

    • Impeccable craft

    • Cultural relevance

RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand & Campaign Design

  • Design and execute creative across:

    • Digital advertising

    • Emails / CRM

    • Social media

    • Web and e-commerce

    • Retail graphics

    • Presentations and brand decks

  • Support seasonal campaigns, drops, collaborations, and cultural moments

  • Translate high-level creative direction into precise, elevated design systems

  • Maintain and evolve the brand’s graphic design language, typography, and layout standards

Hands-On Creative Execution

  • Own layout, typography, composition, and visual hierarchy

  • Build modular design systems for scale across channels

  • Ensure consistency of brand codes while allowing for creative expression

  • Work fluidly across fast-turn projects and long-lead campaign work

Culture, Art & Visual Research

  • Constantly source inspiration from:

    • Fashion

    • Photography

    • Street culture

    • Digital subcultures

  • Bring fresh references and unexpected visual ideas into the brand

  • Stay deeply connected to the global creative and design community

AI & Next-Generation Creative Tools

  • Understand how to combine human taste + machine intelligence without compromising craft
