Jil Sander is Hiring a Content Production Manager (Milan, Italy)

This role supports the CMO in the coordination of Jil Sander’s content production from pre-production through to post-production for global and regional campaigns, social media content, e-commerce and corporate assets, ensuring alignment with creative briefs across the company.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Fluent in English

  • 8+ years of experience in content production, preferably within a luxury or fashion brand.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities.

  • Extensive experience with on-set production and project management.

  • Strong understanding of international business culture and diplomatic skills.

  • Proven ability to problem-solve and drive solutions in complex situations.

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Spearhead production projects from inception to completion, strategically managing timelines, budget targets, invoices, payments, and the delivery of post-production assets.

  • Lead negotiations with external agencies and suppliers to secure top-tier talent and ensure optimal value for talent availability and fees.

  • Manage and mentor an internal team, including freelancers and external agencies, optimizing workflows and ensuring high-quality output.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments (CRM, E-com, wholesale, retail marketing, communications, social media) to proactively gather content requirements and ensure timely asset delivery.

  • Oversee the coordination of equipment rentals and management of the set design stock for photoshoots, ensuring efficient resource allocation.

  • Direct the coordination of catering and external vendor relationships, strategically negotiating contracts and managing budgets effectively.

  • Lead the coordination of product logistics and shipping for photoshoots, optimizing processes to ensure seamless execution.

  • Manage travel logistics, including flight, car, and hotel bookings, implementing cost-effective strategies while ensuring smooth operations.

  • Proactively identify and resolve logistical challenges and potential issues during production, such as scheduling conflicts, budget constraints, or technical difficulties, implementing proactive solutions.

  • Collaborate with the legal team on intellectual property matters and agreements, ensuring compliance and safeguarding the company's interests.

  • Oversee communications with external agencies, retouching companies, photo engravers, editing studios, and post-production suppliers, ensuring high-quality content delivery within budget and on schedule.

  • Streamline the approval process with internal and external stakeholders, implementing efficient workflows and communication protocols.

  • Lead the preparation of creative reviews and presentations to top management and the studio, communicating project progress and strategic insights.

  • Establish and optimize post-production processes for fashion shows and time-sensitive events, ensuring efficient workflows and exceptional quality.

  • Implement systems for tracking formats and specifications before asset delivery, ensuring quality control and compliance with brand guidelines.

  • Oversee the management of the asset archive, ensuring efficient organization, accessibility, and security of all digital assets.

  • Take charge of budget monitoring, expenses management, and invoice processing, implementing robust financial controls and reporting mechanisms.

  • Lead bi-weekly creative review meetings to gather assets across departments, aligning image and copy approval processes to maintain brand consistency.

  • Drive the management of creative brief projects, aligning requests across departments and regions to optimize the turnaround of deliverables, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and maximizing project value.
