BYOMA is Hiring a Brand/Social Media Coordinator (NYC)

Salary range: $67-$70k yearly 

The Brand & Social Media Coordinator supports the execution of brand marketing and social media strategies to build brand awareness, engagement, and community growth. This role helps ensure brand consistency across all channels while coordinating content creation, campaign rollouts, and day-to-day social media management.

Working closely with marketing, creative, influencer, and PR teams, the coordinator helps bring campaigns to life across digital platforms and ensures the brand’s voice, aesthetic, and storytelling resonate with the target consumer.

Location: Manhattan, NY (must have the right to live and work in the US)

In office: 4 days per week

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-3 years experience in social media, brand marketing, or digital marketing (preferably in beauty).

  • Strong understanding of social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channels.

  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.

  • Strong organisational and project coordination abilities.

  • Passion for beauty, skincare, and digital culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand Marketing Support

  • Assist in the planning and execution of brand marketing campaigns, product launches, and seasonal activations.

  • Ensure brand guidelines, tone of voice, and visual identity are consistently applied across all channels.

  • Coordinate marketing assets and campaign materials across internal teams and external partners.

  • Support the creation of brand presentations, campaign briefs, and marketing toolkits.

  • Monitor competitor activity and emerging beauty trends to identify opportunities for brand growth.

Social Media & Community Management

  • Write engaging captions and ensure content reflects the brand’s tone of voice.

  • Coordinate with the creative team to produce social-first content including reels, stories, and short-form video.

  • Monitor social media trends and platform updates to keep the brand culturally relevant.

  • Actively engage with the brand’s online community by responding to comments, messages, and user-generated content

  • Foster brand advocacy by interacting with customers, creators, and beauty enthusiasts.

  • Escalate customer service issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.

  • Identify opportunities to repost UGC and build relationships with loyal brand fans.

Influencer & Content Coordination

  • Support influencer marketing campaigns by coordinating product send-outs and content timelines.

  • Track influencer content and ensure posts are delivered in line with campaign briefs.

  • Maintain influencer lists and assist in creator outreach.

  • Source and curate user-generated content for social channels.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track and report on social media performance metrics including engagement, reach, and follower growth.

  • Assist in preparing weekly and monthly social performance reports.
