Harrods is Hiring a Digital Designer - 6 months FTC (London,UK/Hybrid)

We’re looking for a Digital Designer to join our Creative Studio and bring luxury storytelling to life across social and digital platforms. This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. Please submit a portfolio with your application to be considered.

As Digital Designer, you’ll be a key member of our design team, creating visually compelling content for both organic and paid channels. Your work will reflect the Harrods brand identity while staying ahead of platform trends and adapting to the unique tone of our diverse departments—from fashion and beauty to food and lifestyle.

REQUIREMENTS

You will be a digitally minded designer with a strong eye for typography, layout, and luxury aesthetics. You’re confident working in fast-paced environments and thrive when juggling multiple tasks. Your passion for social media and understanding of platform-specific design will help you create content that stops thumbs and tells stories.

You must have:

  • Previous digital experience, ideally with exposure to social media content creation.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects) and Figma.

  • A portfolio showcasing your ability to deliver high-quality, luxury-aligned digital content.

  • Experience with video editing or assembling footage using Adobe software.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designing 12–15 high-quality Instagram stories weekly across five brand channels, using both templates and bespoke layouts.

  • Producing static and animated assets for digital marketing campaigns, including banners, carousels, and seasonal moments.

  • Collaborating with writers, editors, and content teams to capture or produce assets, including occasional in-store filming.

  • Supporting ideation and creative direction across projects, contributing to engaging visual storytelling.

  • Applying competitor research and engagement insights to inform design decisions and elevate content performance.
