Savage x Fenty: Lingerie by Rihanna is currently hiring a Senior Graphic Designer. Under the direction of the Design Directors and VP of Design, the Sr. Graphic Designer is responsible for the creation, execution and management of print, graphic design, and hardware development. Your aesthetic should translate into designs that are clear, compelling, visually exciting, and easy to understand. You’ll be able to clearly communicate creative ideas to both supervisors and stakeholders, collaborate on ideation with fellow designers, and work with the product development team to deliver solutions that are timely and effective.

This position will report to the Vice President, Design.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 8+ years of apparel graphic and print design experience

  • Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, and Photoshop. Knowledge of Kaledo or similar print programs is a plus.

  • Must have a strong eye for color and can recolor bought prints, as well as self created prints and graphic artworks in a timely manner

  • Incredibly creative and innovative with strong knowledge of print and graphic techniques. Have the ability to create vector-based and hand drawn prints and put into repeat

  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time

  • A team player, you contribute positively to team dynamic, cultivate passion and productivity. You are solutions driven and an efficiency advocate as well as having an all hands on deck mentality

  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills

  • Detail oriented and organized.

  • BFA/ BA in Graphic and Print design.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research inspiration, print and graphic techniques. Compile seasonal graphic mood boards based on design concepts.

  • Design unique and original graphic artworks, logo waistband, and prints. Need to be able to create print repeat

  • Work alongside designers to develop seasonal hardware. Create precise flat sketches indicating measurements

  • Lead and mentor Associate Graphic Designer

  • Collaborate with Designers on the creation of seamless / warpknit engineered patterns

  • Create and develop logos, tags, and labels pertaining to brand's aesthetic

  • Stay abreast of trends, new techniques and resources in print and graphics

  • Create layouts for artwork and logo placements

  • Create techpacks for all new artworks and prints development

  • Communicate regularly with design & product development teams to help problem solve where necessary

  • Acts as a technical resource for the Design teams in terms of production of prints and graphics

  • Follow up and coordinate all ongoing projects in order to meet stated deadlines and track artwork throughout the entire design process

  • Develop and maintain Ai and PDF versions of digital color and pattern archive by season. Match colors from palette precisely on the printer

  • Work directly with marketing/copy team on color naming approvals

  • Take ownership of projects from concept through production.

  • Take initiative to streamline and innovate processes to help make workflow more efficient
