Moscot is Hiring a Graphic Designer (NYC/Hybrid)
We are looking for Graphic Designer with innovative design skills to join our MOSCOT family and support the graphic design initiatives for our global brand. The Graphic Designer will have an artistic perspective and will use their design skills to support creative messaging and brand campaigns for the company. The position requires the ability to be a team player and key collaborator across multiple teams.
The Graphic Designer must be willing to go above and beyond with all tasks with immense appreciation and respect for the authenticity and DNA of the MOSCOT brand. Ideal candidates will be able to push creative boundaries while maintaining and understanding the overall brand aesthetic & heritage. This position requires the ability to multitask and work on different projects simultaneously. Time allocation will be key in this role. This role requires a creative go-getter with excellent organization and communication skills with the ability to create unique content through both physical and digital work.
Hybrid Role: 2 days in NYC office - lower Eastside location
Salary starts at $70k

REQUIREMENTS
3-4 years in graphic design role; supporting the creative for a strong brand
Proven track record of successful email marketing + social media graphic design
Strong knowledge of social media platforms
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent typography, layout, and design composition skills
Deep understanding of brand aesthetic and DNA, with the ability to translate into cohesive, visually impactful designs
Experience or strong interest in photography; will be collaborating with photographers, retouchers, and occasionally participating on set
Creative energy & problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently, manage projects, and consistently meet deadlines
Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and follow-up skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and create clear, on-brand, engaging visual communications for both print and digital applications for a global brand. This includes but is not limited to: e-mails, branded promotional items, website graphics, social media, posters, flyers, in-store/window displays, custom window graphics, catalogues, brochures, trade show/large format graphics frequently as needed
Work on large scale graphics and have knowledge in print production
Work closely with the Marketing team and Creative Manager to translate out messaging concepts into marketing materials
Execute marketing briefs for printed and digital assets for seasonal based campaigns.
Facilitate creating graphics and layouts for the MOSCOT annual style guide catalogue & our annual MOSCOT Newspaper
Continually optimizing & updating multiple assets for the website
Creation of content for social media using the means of product/still-life photography, graphic design, video, multimedia art, animation, GIFs, etc.
Good understanding of photography to assist with photo briefs and shoots.
