5 Good Things: Redefining the main character (you).

TRUST YOURSELF

This requires a lot of gut training. If you want to interpret that as upping your probiotics, that’s fine too. Health is wealth. But, realistically it’s in the sense that you approach things with intuitiveness, listening to what your common sense tries to tell your brain. Being genuinely forthright with your words, being brave with your choices. The main advantage a protagonist has over other people is they’ve learned to trust their gut feelings, it has no reason to lie to you. It’s where all of your emotions live, and when something is awry, it tells you. The vibration of signals that only you can feel. And when you can trust what your gut is trying to alert you to, the outer version of you becomes more authentic and the right people in your life do not doubt your good intentions.

YOU COME WITH A REBEL ENERGY

If you were to write down a list of real life protagonists you admire, the commonality they share is the will to stand up for what they believe in. You don’t fall for propaganda nor do you surrender to challenges that appear bigger than they really are. You want to fight the good fight, because not everyone can be strong enough all the time and that’s where your unique leadership is needed. You’re a problem solver, a cheerleader, a caregiver, you’re not on the sidelines, you take up space and like the Red Cross, are always there to help.
