Favorite Daughter is Hiring a Graphic Designer (Los Angeles/Hybrid)

We’re looking for a highly creative and trend-aware Graphic Artist/Designer to join the Favorite Daughter design team. This role plays a key part in developing original artwork, new silhouettes, and innovative wash and logo techniques that reflect the brand’s voice and cultural relevance. You’ll collaborate with a tight-knit, fast-moving team to bring ideas to life across tees, sweatshirts, and seasonal capsules. Partner with the Creative Director and Design Director to translate seasonal concepts into compelling graphic design and original artwork. 

Salary Range: $68,640-$75,000

REQUIREMENTS

  • Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented 

  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented, meticulous and creative 

  • Creativity, technical capability and sensibility for graphics and fonts; strong ability to sketch 

  • Extensive knowledge of traditional and web-based graphic production techniques, including color separations, camera-ready art, heat transfers, etc. 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field 

  • 4 - 7 years experience in graphic design; significant relevant experience in category 

  • Expert in Adobe products and Mac computers; highly proficient in Microsoft Office 

  • PLM experience is a plus 

  • A graphic-driven designer who lives for color, layout, and bold visual storytelling. 

  • Plugged into fashion, youth culture, and emerging trends—especially in the digitally native space. 

  • Confident working in Adobe Creative Suite and able to quickly render ideas for internal and external presentations. 

  • Organized, self-motivated, and collaborative. 

  • Passionate about building a brand with cultural impact. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design fresh, relevant graphics that elevate the brand identity—particularly logo treatments, placement graphics, and graphic storytelling across apparel. 

  • Research and interpret fashion trends, art, typography, and pop culture to keep designs sharp, modern, and customer-relevant. 

  • Build graphic mood boards and presentations for seasonal concepts and individual style development. 

  • Develop new wash and printing techniques in collaboration with production to enhance texture, color, and finish. 

  • Mock up graphics on garments and support development of new silhouettes when needed. 

  • Support additional brand graphic needs as necessary
