Eva NYC (Heat Makes Sense, Inc.) is a fast-growing hair care and tool manufacturer, with our headquarters in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and distribution in Pennsauken, NJ. Unlike most companies, we create everything in-house. Our brands and Product development take an idea for a tool or shampoo and creates versions for internal testing (employee participation encouraged!). Our amazingly innovative design studio to creates our unique packaging and marketing materials and our operations produces and distributes the new products.

The Creative Producer for Eva-NYC will be responsible for planning, executing and delivering the full range of Creative Assets for Eva-NYC, Brooklyn-based purveyor of “good hair days - everyday”. This role will work with the in-house Creative Team to manage, plan and execute Photo/Video projects (including model, still-life and product) that will support all packaging, e-commerce, digital, Visual Merchandising, print and various other type of creative projects that require new photo/video content in order to execute.

Looking for a highly organized, excellent communicator with a love of collaboration, and a demonstrated ability to create processes, organize and manage projects using ASANA. Looking for someone with a passion for being the organizational backbone to producing excellent creative work towards building an engaging brand with a devoted following.

The role will report in directly to the Director of Creative Operations & will work hand in hand with our in-house Creative Team of Art Directors, Designers, Photographers, Producers and other members of the studio team. This role will also work cross-functionally with the Brand Marketing, E-commerce, Product Development, Purchasing and Operations teams to ensure that all project brief details, materials, samples, products, props, talent & budgets for Photo/Video shoots are correctly accounted for in order to deliver best in class creative content on time & on budget.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Expert Level fluency in ASANA & Mac OS; general familiarity with WebDAM & Box a bonus but not required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Creative field

  • 2-5 years of experience managing traditional/digital/photo/video production projects in a Creative Agency or In-House team setting

  • Ability to manage project intakes and building out project timelines that seamlessly integrate workstreams between all contributors and cross-functional teams

  • Able to define timelines, milestones, risks, resource needs, budget and deliverables

  • Excellent clear and concise, verbal and written communication skills

  • Highly detail oriented and organized individual with a passion for keeping things on track and a sharp eye for detail

  • Ability to create and implement processes and systems around project management, tracking/visibility and communication

  • Be comfortable juggling multiple projects in the fast paced, high output world of beauty, social and content

  • A passion for working closely with creative and production resources to make great work

  • Capable of interacting cross-functionally to consider varying department objectives

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the Photo/Video Asset delivery calendar for the Creative team, creating checkpoints, timelines and review schedules

  • Coordinate internal resources for excellent and timely project execution for Photo/Video Capture, Pre- & Post-Production. Ensure resource availability and allocation well in advance to keep projects running smoothly and on time, setting daily priorities and expectations across the team

  • Champion and facilitate clear communication and collaboration across disciplines. For example ensuring photo video assets are in place for a Designer to execute a digital campaign, & working with the internal Studio team to successfully plan & execute production of new content shoots as needed to provide missing imagery where needed

  • Schedule and manage freelance talent for content shoots as needed. This usually includes hair, makeup, wardrobe stylists, photo assistants, digital techs, prop stylists, models/actors etc.

  • Oversee Photo/Video Process for Eva-NYC, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on objectives and timelines in Asana, creating & enforcing timelines & due dates for all Pre-Production Planning & Post Production Editing to successful completion

  • Create a checklist and make sure all necessary elements are in place on shoot days including the product, props, equipment, talent contracts, call sheets, catering, etc.

  • Manage the schedule and shot list during shoot days to help team stay on schedule and running smoothly

  • Once shoot is complete oversee post-production with retouchers, editors as well as cross-functional marketing and ecommerce teams for feedback and approvals in Asana as needed, & work with in-house Digital Asset manager to ensure all final approved Photo/Video assets are successfully uploaded into WebDAM & Creative Server

  • Create & maintain contact and price list database for talent, crew, and vendors

  • Manage our in-house photo studio equipment and schedule

  • Assist in managing inevitable changes in project scope and/or timeline

  • Contribute thoughtful leadership to day-to-day operations improvements and new process execution

  • Operate with excellence in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable making decisions to move projects forward

  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, on budget and on-strategy

  • Report and escalate issues to leadership as needed
