Dear Media is Hiring a Senior Podcast Producer (NYC)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Podcast Producer to oversee the production of approximately 4-5 shows weekly, oversee several larger initiatives across the department as well as manage a small team of direct reports. This role is critical in managing all aspects of podcast production—from creative development and distribution, to monetization and marketing —while maintaining network protocols and ensuring the highest quality standards.
Salary range: $70k-80k yearly

REQUIREMENTS
4+ years of proven experience in podcast production - audio recording, editing, and quality control processes
Proficiency in podcast production tools and software is required
Direct leadership experience
Exceptional organizational and project management skills - ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Experience working with high level talent.
History of managing cross departmental operations and systems
Experience with podcast marketing and promotion, as well as larger growth and visibility strategy
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee 3-5 weekly releasing podcasts, ensuring the highest quality from creative development and content capture, through post production and distribution.
Build positive working relationships with talent, provide feedback, address any issues, and ensure a collaborative and productive environment.
Manage performance and growth strategy.
Collaborate with the editing team to deliver polished episodes that meet client expectations and maintain high standards.
Collaborate with leadership on larger initiatives across the department such as marketing strategy, growth opportunities as well as talent relations.
Understand and oversee larger cross-department operations, providing guidance and context to the team.
If applicable, oversee and mentor a team of 2-3 Producers, providing constructive feedback and guidance to foster growth and maintain high standards
Advising junior employees on best practices for communication and workflow.
Assist in content development across the department, participate in brainstorming sessions, and monitor show performance.
