The role of Senior Graphic Designer will be a part of the CALPAK creative team, and will report to the company’s Design Lead. They will be responsible for translating marketing and business objectives into brand creative that is aesthetically aligned, visually exciting, high performing, and within the brief provided. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for typography, spacial awareness, and color, is highly-collaborative and detail oriented, and has great knowledge of trends, techniques, and tools to improve the overall creative result.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4-6 years of graphic design experience; agency experience preferred

  • Fully integrated with Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite, and Figma

  • Prior experience with digital advertising through email, web, and social media

  • Prior experience with photo and video editing for social media campaigns

  • Extensive knowledge of customer-facing platforms such as, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and more

  • Excellent self and project management skills with high attention to detail, organization, efficiency, and timeliness

  • Creative and inquisitive mind, and a willingness to seek data/information that improves the end design result

  • Able to manage multiple projects at once and complete tasks on time

  • Able to commute in person to Gardena, CA

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, organize, and coordinate the execution of elevated brand material such as, but not limited to, social media graphics, digital advertisements, various print material, etc.

  • Maintain template consistency and file quality for all digital and marketing materials

  • Work with the Design Lead to determine the creative scope and its plan of action for each individual project or campaign, while managing tasks independently of Design Lead

  • Collaborate effectively with team members across creative, digital, and marketing to adhere to the sales, business, and development goals set forward

  • Contribute to collaborative design discussions, and use clear communication skills to present design ideas to the team

  • Work closely with the creative team to maintain and elevate the campaign aesthetic and visual experience within the brand guidelines

  • Work in a collaborative, iterative, and ad-hoc environment to bring new ideas and designs to life

  • Continually inspire the creative, digital, and marketing process with conceptual development and creative strategy
