Webtoon is Hiring Freelance Graphic Designer *Must Speak English/Korean* (Los Angeles)

With an average of 72+ million monthly active users, 16.5+ million of whom read daily, more people consume WEBTOON series than watch most television shows. WEBTOON features a broad and diverse catalog of content from all over the world -- including romance, thriller, fantasy, comedy and more. Launched stateside in 2014, WEBTOON has thousands of creator-owned series with episodes updating daily.
We are looking for a Freelance Graphic Designer (Korean and English speaking) to bring Korean original content to Gen-Z and Millennial audiences in our English-speaking target markets.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience working with webcomics and lettering
Korean-language proficiency, must be able to read and type Korean
Excellent attention to detail
Expert knowledge of Adobe Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
Demonstrated understanding of industry standards, trends, and technical knowledge
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proactive, flexible, and ready to find solutions!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prep Korean webcomic episodes for translation; recreating panels, speech bubbles, text, and graphics when appropriate
Adhere to font style guides
Deliver high-quality, professional content by production deadlines
