Uniqlo is Hiring a Web Production Designer - Holiday Temp (*Remote / NYC)

Uniqlo is currently hiring for a Web Production Designer to work under the Site Planning Manager to create assets & develop pages for web and app, providing the best LifeWear brand experience to our customers. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, well organized especially in busiest times, think critically and horizontally from a visual and design perspective, work well both independently and on a team, and be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

REQUIREMENTS

  • · Degree in Art, Graphic Design or similar

  • · 2+ years writing HTML/CSS

  • · 2+ years online creative development, optimally focused on e-commerce website

  • · Knows how to use Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere

  • · Knowledge of website optimization best practices & design standards to optimize across devices required

  • · Bonus Skills: Sketch, Figma, Google Doc/Sheets, Airtable

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • · Create all the visual (both still & video) assets displayed on UNIQLO.com

  • · Localize the HTML page templates provided by the global web production team, editing text, visual, links, and script based on the direction given from the directors.

  • · Develop custom HTML pages and site banners occasionally

  • · Provide the best user experience online while understanding the different limits and regulations in the content management system

  • · Work daily with Site Planning and Copy teams to solidify imagery and design direction on homepage, featured pages, and more.

  • · Understand and follow the guideline of every campaign asset.

  • · Work with team leadership to learn and apply Uniqlo best practices

  • · Manage marketing and creative assets from the Global team to ensure proper usage in local asset design while adhering to global brand creative direction

  • · Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment with CRM, digital marketing, store and global teams on campaign & product assets

  • · Work with other designers to update and version creatives

Salary: $30-35/hour *
