Summer Fridays is a growing collection of products that give us what we are missing—beauty, efficacy and simplicity—while inviting us into a sensorial experiences that are nothing short of dreamy escapes. Like daily mini stay-cations for your skin.

In partnership with Marketing and Digital, the Freelance Junior Graphic Designer will support the creation of primarily digital design content and additional marketing assets. The ideal candidate is rooted in visual design with experience in video and animation. This role will require 20-25 hours per week.

In this role you will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating best-in-class visuals for Summer Fridays’ digital touchpoints, including but not limited to eComm, paid search, social and email.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2-years experience in visual design

  • BFA in graphic design, visual communications or related field

  • Passion for beauty, pop culture and great design!

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills

  • Eager, can-do, positive attitude

  • Exceptional technical and creative communication skills

  • Collaborative, open-minded and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Light HTML experience

  • Proficiency in GSuite, Microsoft Tools and the Adobe CC Suite

  • Familiarity with Shopify and Klaviyo preferred

  • Must be based in Los Angeles (remote during COVID)


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Social on building out the social media calendar

  • Create fresh, on-brand social assets including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, paid search and social, email, SMS, etc.

  • Manage digital asset library in partnership with the Social Team

  • Design bi-weekly newsletters. uploading content to CRM platform

  • Create, manage and liaison with external digital agency on all paid search and social content

  • Partner with Digital Team to conceptualize and create any assets needed for the website, including but not limited to sourcing, designing and resizing assets for Desktop and Mobile, Product Page and any website refreshes

  • Assist with creating, editing and organizing internal and external presentation documents

  • Other assignments/tasks as necessary
