Snowday Studio is Hiring Associate Creative Director, Copy (Brooklyn / Remote)

Currently hiring an Associate Creative Director where you will take point distilling complex ideas into cohesive and inspiring stories. Since we believe stories can be elevated at every turn, you'll not only develop concepts and write scripts, but also work hand-in-hand with designers, directors, editors, and animators to bring those ideas to life. You see the storytelling potential in every opportunity and enjoy working within the constraints of a brief. As a top-notch writer, you know the ins-and-outs of diction and syntax, can translate ideas into 5-minutes or 6-seconds, and have a firm stance on the oxford comma. Curious for inspiration, you are always learning. Our team and brand partners will often turn to you for answers on creative, and you'll be expected to present your work with energy and poise.

The Associate Creative Director will report to the Executive Creative Director. Located in the Greater New York area. Please note that we are currently working from home due to COVID-19.

We want to ensure this is the right fit for both sides, and so we’d like to welcome someone to our team in a temporary full-time capacity with the possibility of extension after a 3-month period.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Google Drive, and excited to co-work in Basecamp

  • Experience developing strategies, concepts, and copy for brands

  • A plus if you have experience in Adobe Premiere

  • Working knowledge of Settlers of Catan

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Translate briefs into exciting and efficient roadmaps for creative exploration

  • Develop and present creative proposals and pitches

  • Lead creative teams in development of concepts and execution of projects

  • Write scripts, check and approve all copy at every stage

  • Collaborate with project producers to develop creative within scope

  • Listen to our brand partners to keep the project moving forward

  • Work with internal and external teams to find and implement creative solutions to feedback

  • Demonstrate expert understanding of our brand partners

  • Mentor copywriters by fostering high creative standards and a collaborative approach to the work
