Net-a-Porter is Hiring Junior Online Stylist (London)
YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP is the world’s leading online luxury fashion retailer. The Styling team are now seeking a talented Junior Online Stylist to join the team based in their offices in London. Reporting into the Deputy Online Styling Editor, you will be tasked with bringing the NET-A-PORTER repertoire of products to life. You will use innovative and eye catching styling and thereby constantly improve the shopping experience at NET-A-PORTER.
You will work four days a week between Monday and Friday (37.5 hours per week).
Experience of styling (or assisting an editor) in an editorial/luxury fashion environment.
Experience of working with models.
Awareness of seasonal trends.
Knowledge of luxury brands and brand pairings.
A flair and individuality combined with awareness of NET-A-PORTER house style.
Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
Proven experience of working in a collaborative and professional manner with members of your own team and the wider business.
Ability to keep up with the deadlines and have a good attention to detail.
Excellent work ethic.
Pro-activeness and ability to show initiative/ideas to constantly improve the image quality of the site and studio processes.
Strong time management skills.
Create and style inspiring, on-brand, on-trend & editorially-relevant outfits for minimum 18 products per day, with the guidance of the Online Styling Editor including all accessory and jewellery options which will entice customers and showcase our products in their best light
Present styled rail to Online Styling Editor for approval on a daily basis. Working together with the Online Styling Editor in any changes in the outfits, creating strong and on brand outfits. Featuring slow selling products in outfits with little product repetition.
Check and review own product images prior to going live. Alert Online Styling Editor about any issues or actions that need to be taken.
Work productively with the on-set team; including assistant, photographer and models to deliver all online product imagery that accurately depicts clothing and is styled according to NET-A-PORTER house standards.
Work with photographer and Online Styling Editor when needed on-set to co-direct and select best poses.
Own key areas and projects that support the business whilst maintaining core job role.
Proactively suggest improvements to studio processes and assist the Online Styling Editor & the Studio Production manager with implementation.
Maintain up to date knowledge of designers, brands, trends and NET-A-PORTER editorial.
Attend trend and Buying presentations when needed.
Ensure no more than 5% of your images are reshot per week, with 100% accurate product representation.
Work with the Studio Production Coordinators in order to make sure that any reshoots are done correctly and in time.
Meet image deadlines for weekly uploads.
Communicate any complex issues to the Online Styling Editor or the Studio Production Manager and seek advice and help to resolve them. Constantly communicate workflow status and concerns to Studio Production Coordinator.
Work with other members of the Studio production team to ensure the photo studio is organized and ordered.
Ensure Sample stock is not mishandled.
