Currently looking for a talented Art Director  to join the team in Budapest. Nanushka know that selling more is never sustainable, but empowers people to work towards a more sustainable future. In this role of Art Director you will be responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining the cohesion and integrity of the Company's unique visual representations, while simultaneously developing and discovering new channels in which to expand the Company's visual or artistic presence. The work environment at Nanushka is fast-paced and energetic. You will be in permanent contact with fashion market trends.


  • Higher education in fashion, graphic design or art 

  • 2-3 years proven previous experience in a similar, preferably Art Director position

  • Strong research, conceptual and creative skills

  • Experience managing and mentoring creative direct reports

  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Creative Suite, Illustrator and Indesign

  • Excellent communication and language skills, fluency in English is a requirement

  • Organized, precise and respectful of time frames

  • Cooperative and a team player

  • Confident, flexible, energetic and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Work independently, yet collaboratively

  • Interest in Contemporary Culture: fashion, Design, Photography and Art

  • Available to work full time, willingness to relocate to Budapest


  • Become the visual guardian of the brand across all key channels and support the right teams to deliver on brand experiences to its customers and shoppers

  • Ultimately your role will be to become the voice, the eyes and ears of the Creative Director in all non clothing related projects

  • Conceptualize and design campaign aesthetics and execute the creative vision

  • Develops a strong and consistent connection between online and in-person branding across all channels

  • Develops visual merchandising concepts (for both online and offline)  and strategy by working closely with the Creative Director

  • Develops creative concepts and strategies for campaigns, media content, visuals and all aspects of the business

  • Working with external art directors on campaigns and creative assets

  • Support the content creation projects, photoshoots and fashion weeks to ensure achieving the highest standards of visual aesthetics and on brand content delivery

  • Continuously develops new knowledge about innovation, new trends, consumer insights and technology

  • Close collaboration with creative departments,  marketing and cross department directors to ensure the execution of creative and design projects is up to the right brand standards and is cohesive
