Naadam is Hiring an Associate Art Director (NYC/hybrid)
Salary range: $80-$100k annually
We’re looking for an Associate Art Director to join our in-house creative team. This is a highly hands-on role for a strong visual thinker who can concept and execute across photography, video, and design. Reporting into the Creative Director, you’ll partner closely to lead shoot execution, develop creative assets across all channels, and help evolve how we integrate AI into our creative workflows.

REQUIREMENTS
4–5 years of experience in an in-house or agency creative role
Experience in fashion, DTC, or e-commerce preferred
Proven experience directing shoots and managing production vendors
Background or interest in sustainability, materials, or supply chain storytelling is a plus
Motion design experience (After Effects or similar) preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, or related field
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects); Figma a plus
Strong experience in photo and video production, including on-set direction
Working knowledge of AI tools and interest in applying them to creative workflows
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
High attention to detail and organization
Clear communicator, comfortable giving and receiving feedback
Comfortable working a minimum of 3 days per week in our NYC office
RESPONSIBILITIES
Photography/Video
Concept and execute e-commerce, lifestyle, and brand content shoots from pre-production through final delivery
Lead pre-production logistics: casting, location scouting, prop sourcing, and styling coordination
Direct on set — giving clear, confident direction to photographers, talent, and stylists to achieve an elevated, consistent visual standard
Develop and maintain shot lists, call sheets, and visual references
Own the post-production workflow: selects, edit direction, retouching, color, and final delivery across all channels
Drive video creative from concept through post
Direct videographers and editors, maintaining brand voice
Stay current on video formats and platform best practices (Reels, TikTok, YouTube, CTV)
Design
Design assets across all brand channels: e-commerce, email, paid media, social, OOH, packaging, and retail
Build seasonal campaign toolkits, templates, and visual systems that scale efficiently across the marketing calendar
Collaborate with Marketing and Merchandising teams to ensure creative aligns to business goals and product storytelling
Uphold and evolve Naadam's visual identity with consistency across every touchpoint
AI Integration & Creative Process
Actively explore and integrate AI tools (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Runway, etc.) into concepting, moodboarding, and production workflows
Identify opportunities for AI to accelerate or elevate output without compromising quality or brand integrity
Stay ahead of emerging tools and translate them into practical, high-impact creative applications
