Join Airbnb Creative Team, Apply for Photography Fellowship (San Francisco)

Founded in 2008, Airbnb’s mission is to create a world where people can belong through healthy travel that is local, authentic, diverse, inclusive and sustainable. Airbnb uniquely leverages technology to economically empower millions of people around the world to unlock and monetize their spaces, passions and talents to become hospitality entrepreneurs. Airbnb's people-to-people platform benefits all its stakeholders, including hosts, guests, employees and the communities in which it operates.

The Airbnb Creative Fellowship is a one-year opportunity to stretch your skills in a fast-paced environment where visual design, brand, and product marketing go hand-in-hand-in-hand. Currently looking for four talented new-grads specializing in either Design, Film, Photography, or Copywriting. These four Fellows will be immersed in a collaborative team, learn more about the Airbnb business beyond design, and help create community-driven brand expressions. All the while, you’ll be receiving support and mentorship from a creative group of makers and thinkers.

As a Photography Fellow you will explore new skill areas and gain a better understanding of the relationship between photographic storytelling and business. From concept to execution to presentation, you’ll be immersed in the end-to-end process of photography projects. You will be asked to stretch your talents, not only in capturing images, but in creative strategy, pre-production, concepting a photographic direction, executing against a brief, and delivering final images. You will collaborate with different teams within Airbnb including Marketing, Product, and PR, and learn from these collaborations how to create imagery that delivers on both messaging and brand identity. By the end of the fellowship, you should leave with a diverse body of work and with a greater understanding of how your skill set can impact a business.
