Act+Acre is Hiring a Senior Designer (NYC/remote)
We're hiring a Senior Designer to lead day-to-day creative execution across the brand. You'll be the only designer in the company. You'll work directly with our founder and CEO on direction, and own the translation of that direction into the work itself. This is a hands-on execution role inside a tight brand system. We're not looking for radical reinvention; we're looking for someone who can hold a quiet, clinical brand consistent across a hundred small touches — email, social, packaging, Sephora retail, PDPs, the lot.
About the company
Act+Acre is a scalp-first hair care brand built on the science of hair longevity. Founded by trichologist Helen Reavey, we sell on actandacre.com, Amazon, and in Sephora across the US. We're a small team — under twenty — and we build slowly, deliberately, and with a strong point of view about how the category should look and sound.
REQUIREMENTS
6+ years in-house or agency, with meaningful time in beauty, wellness, or premium DTC.
Scalp, hair, skin, or clinical-adjacent is a strong plus.
A portfolio that shows range and depth across email, social, packaging, and retail. We'll look hardest at packaging and retail work.
Evidence of working directly with founders or executive stakeholders.
A point of view. We want to hear what you'd push on, not just what you'd execute.
Discipline inside a tight brand system. Act+Acre is a quiet, clinical brand — not a designer chasing radical reinvention.
Fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Klaviyo email and CRM design — template systems, campaign sends, and the design layer of our AI-assisted content workflow
Social — static, template, and adapted assets across organic, gifting, and influencer
Packaging — new product launches, refreshes, through to print Sephora retail collateral, GWP, gifting, trade kits, event materials
Shopify visual layer — PDPs, banners, refresh assets
Steward the brand system itself — Figma libraries, guidelines, templates
