Review: Earth Tu Face Skincare

Earth Tu Face was created by two California herbalists who wanted to create a skincare line in pure harmony with the body and with the earth. The brand’s all natural, sustainably sourced skincare products are formulated with the idea that what is good for the Earth is good for us. That makes a whole lot of sense.

Our mother’s generation of skincare products were built from mostly laboratory chemicals. In today’s world and climate, everything that we put on our skin will absorb into our bodies. I love Earth Tu Face’s brand message of how nature’s raw ingredients can heal, rejuvenate and repair our skin like no other laboratory chemical can. Earth Tu Face uses ingredients from sustainably farmed Australian sandalwood to rose petals and calendula flowers from their own organic garden in California. What you have are products filled with all natural, essential vitamins, omega oils and botanicals that instantly restores your skin to a healthy, luminescent glow. This is all coming from experience having used Earth Tu Face throughout winter 2020-2021 and early spring.

EARTH TU FACE

TRAVEL FACE WASH ✩✩✩✩✩

Two words to describe this small, but powerful 5-star face wash: clean and fresh. What else is a face cleanser supposed to do, but Earth Tu Face’s palmarosa and aloe deliver instant clean, fresh results. Love the soapy natural suds that for some reason reminded of childhood. My face was squeaky clean, brighter, smoother. And it doesn’t dry up my skin afterwards, probably thanks to the palmarosa’s oil working as a barrier to combat dryness.

FACE BALM

✩✩✩✩✩

The Face Balm with immortelle and rose, two healing plant oils blended into a water-free balm base that kept my face in tact all winter long. Although, it did take a few weeks for me to get used to the balm, only because it was unfamiliar territory. Yet once I found a groove with it, I thought it helped to heal and destress my tired pandemic hysteria skin. A little goes a very long way, every night I scooped two pea sized portions on to my face. It definitely provided overall coverage and I didn’t wake up to breakouts or stress wrinkles. It certainly moisturized my skin and kept it moisturized, which to me, is worth the price tag.

Earth Tu Face is very transparent with their ethical practices in sustainable sourcing and ingredients list. I know there’s more affordable all-natural skincare products, you know what I’m referring to, the ones in aisle 12 next to the organic laundry detergents. If you truly want to try green beauty and skincare, always read the ingredients list first on the brand’s website. And if you can’t pronounce, spell by heart or wouldn’t recognize in a garden, then you should check out Earth Tu Face.

*THANK YOU TO EARTH TU FACE FOR GIFTING THESE PRODUCTS FOR REVIEW. ALL OPINIONS ARE BASED ON MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCTS.
