OTHERLAND

If all the good aesthetic Pinterest boards came together and gave birth to candles, that would be Otherland. Not only is it visual eye candy, but this candle collection boasts of custom coconut and soy wax blends. And they’re so pretty with relaxing scents. Otherland is an artful brand due to its founder Abigail Cook Stone, a former art buyer for Ralph Lauren. Needless to say she’s had a long-running obsession with candles, Abigail has built a business that blends her passion for art, design and fragrance.

EVERYBODY & EVERYONE

“Can I make great clothes that work harder for me and are better for the planet?” That was the question Veronica Chou wanted to find an answer for and thus founded Everybody & Everyone, a women’s fashion line of everyday essentials, not harming the planet. The brand offers transparent explanations of their raw and recycled materials that use low impact farming practices and they work with eco-certified manufacturers (don’t hear that often do we?). Their tees, sweatshirts and sweatpants have been finished with recycled silver to resist odors and a fluorine free solution to repel water-based stains. That means less laundry equals less water. Everybody & Everyone is doing the most in the sustainable fashion game right now, see for yourself.

SUPERNAL

Founder Melissa Medvedich married her two passions, skincare and design to create Supernal. After a 15 year career as a New York City Creative Director, Medvedich decided to create a clean line of small batch luxury skincare. She even became a certified aromatherapist at the New York Institute of Aromatic Studies. The first product is the Cosmic Glow Oil, a silky face oil with Vitamin C and Omegas 3, 6 and 9, all equipped to retain skin’s luminosity and glow. Supernal is a hand’s on operation, Medvedich herself hand-blends the organic, natural ingredients in New York.

SISTERS BODY

Doni, Eva, and Jo Zasloff are sisters and founders of Sisters Body, a line of non-toxic hair and body products that donates 40% of profits to women’s health organizations. It was in 2017 (you know, THAT year) as the political climate shifted, so did the threat to aid women’s health causes. The Zasloff sisters wanted to create products that were not only natural and safe for women’s bodies, but to give back to protect the right’s of women’s bodies. The non-toxic and biodegradable line consists of shampoo, conditioner, gentle body wash and hand wash in all 100% recycled bottles.
