Outdoor Voices is Hiring Creative Director (Austin, TX)

Currently looking for a Creative Director to creatively and strategically bring marketing initiatives and goals to life. This person can lead a creative team to execute clear vision and knows how to drive creativity with constraints.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years experience in creative

  • 3+ years experience managing the entire creative ecosystem, including design, copy, photography, and production

  • Agency experience is a plus

  • Portfolio of brand campaigns inclusive of e-commerce, stores, email, social, and paid advertising

  • Experience with an apparel, DTC, retail or lifestyle brand is a plus

  • Strong digital experience necessary

  • Digital design background and proficient in the Adobe Suite

  • Deep understanding of customer motivations and how to inspire brand communities

  • Highly imaginative, excited to bring a constant flow of new creative ideas to OV

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Project management system experience a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct brainstorms that drive strategic creative solutions for marketing needs

  • Direct the look, feel, and messaging for multi-channel marketing campaigns that motivate customer behavior

  • Leverage an omni channel creative approach (brand media, conversion ads, social, content,

  • email, events, mail, etc) to creatively tell one narrative across multiple environments

  • Day-to-day management of the creative team, creative operations, creative and asset calendar, and department budget

  • Provide constructive feedback on WIP that elevates the team’s thinking and creative skills

  • Connect product aesthetic and style details to the overall creative identity of the brand

  • Deliver concepts that meet strategic business objectives and deliver against the KPIs defined in campaign and product briefs

  • Create content that embodies the OV brand, provides value to our community and aligns with business goals

  • Collaborate cross functionally as a brand steward, consistently coaching the broader team on use of brand identity and brand voice

  • Develop a strategy for capturing content that maximizes efficiency and organization across all content-generating functions (Doer Program, OVU, OV Events, etc)

  • Grow and maintain a network of freelance and creative production resources
