Heaven Mayhem is hiring a Social Media Manager (Los Angeles)

Heaven Mayhem is seeking a Social Media Manager with deep expertise in TikTok. This role will lead the ideation, creation, and execution of a high-performing TikTok strategy that fuels brand awareness, community engagement, and growth.

You will own the platform end-to-end, from filming and editing to trend-spotting, posting, analyzing performance, and community management.

Founded in 2022 by Creative Director Pia Mance, our ethos is simple: to create statement pieces designed to elevate the everyday modern capsule wardrobe.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1–2+ years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing.

  • Proven ability to create TikTok and Reels content that achieves meaningful engagement and reach.

  • Comfortable with on-camera presence

  • Proficiency in short-form editing tools (CapCut, InShot, Adobe Suite, or similar).

  • Understanding of social media trends, platform algorithms, and the nuances of viral content.

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced and experimental environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience growing a personal or brand TikTok account.

  • Preferred but not essential: Background in influencer marketing, UGC management, or community management. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Tik Tok Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and own Heaven Mayhem’s TikTok strategy, adapting trends, audios, vlogs, and formats into elevated, on-brand storytelling.

  • Create, film, edit, and publish short-form content aligned with brand voice, visual identity, and business goals.

  • Produce a variety of video styles, including vlogs, trend-driven videos, product spotlights, styling/try-on content, behind-the-scenes content, and photo scroll formats.

  • Actively monitor emerging trends, hashtags, cultural moments, and platform updates, and integrate them into content in real time.

  • Increase engagement by liking, replying, following, and using strategic captions, hooks, hashtags, and data insights to boost visibility.

Content Creation

  • Produce original short-form videos (both on-camera and behind-camera) including UGC-style content and story-driven concepts.

  • Write scripts, creative outlines, shot lists, and storyboards for short-form videos.

  • Edit videos using mobile and desktop tools such as CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush, or Final Cut.

  • Work closely with internal teams to develop lifestyle, product-forward, promotional, and campaign-related content. 

Social Media Management

  • Schedule and publish content across TikTok and Instagram, targeting a consistent daily posting window

  • Maintain and optimize a posting calendar aligned with marketing initiatives, product launches, and seasonal moments.

  • Manage community engagement across platforms, including replying to comments, DMs, and fostering brand loyalty.
