FRAME is Hiring a Senior Designer, Women’s Denim (Culver City, CA)
We are seeking to fill a Designer role, with the potential to hire at the Senior Designer level based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate. The compensation range provided reflects the variability depending on the level at which the position is ultimately filled.
Reporting to the Head of Men’s & Women’s Denim, the Women’s Denim Designer will collaborate and partner with the Director & Design Team to create a line that is on trend, sellable and has the FRAME brand integrity within our Denim category.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5-7 years of Fashion Design experience/ minimum 3 years denim design experience is a must
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or equivalent required
Knowledge of Photoshop, Excel and Word needed
Fluent in Hand sketching and Illustrator
Ability to mentor and motivate a team
Excellent verbal and written communicator
Respectful and responsible team player
Knowledge of a PLM system is a need, proficiency in Full Circle is a plus
Detail orientated
Strong on-brand point of view
Strong time management skills
Full time in office working environment
RESPONSIBILITIES
Researches trends and applies newness and modernity to the FRAME brand during the design process.
Strong emphasis on developing the fashion styles within each product category is a big responsibility to support the newness within the line and chase programs.
Collaborates with the team based on concept presentation, denim research and trends, and presents market research and sketches to the Creative Director.
Helps to manage the design process from initial sketch to production.
Provides leadership and serves as a mentor to the other members of the design team.
Inspires the denim design team by fueling a collaborative creative environment with a positive attitude.
Collaborates with Patternmakers, Product Development, and Technical Designers to confirm desired garment construction and look are clear and maintained.
Attend and participate in fittings and works with the Tech team to ensure design intent and fits are properly executed.
Creating denim-oriented groups that are driven by trend, concept presentation, and on brand ideas seasonally.
Support Design Director in design team time management to ensure that all hand off dates to cross functional partners are met per established sampling and production calendar dates.
Review and confirm Protos and SMS received are correct per tech packs submitted to vendors.
Communicate with and provide accurate, clear, detailed information to vendors and tech team via tech packs and emails as needed.
Partner well with Product Development team and other cross functional teams to ensure that established process is maintained to support the intent of organization across department.
Able and eager to travel with the team to overseas to vendors to support in season development for the department.
