Balenciaga is Hiring a Public Relations Asst (NYC)

Current hourly range is $20/hr to $22/hr

We are currently seeking a Public Relations Assistant who will report to the Vice President of Communications. The PR and Communications Assistant will assist with logistics for all collection requests, pre-collection requests, high-res image requests, and credit request under the supervision of the PR and Communications Coordinator. This role will oversee the packing, sending and return of all samples in a precise, accurate and timely manner. The role will also oversee the PR intern(s) under the supervision of the PR Coordinator.

Additionally, the PR and Communications Assistant will be responsible for the administrative duties of the PR office including, finance, supply replenishment and office organization.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor degree with major in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related disciplines
2 years’ experience in the fashion industry, preferably in marketing, public relations or related disciplines
Working knowledge of fashion media
Working knowledge of luxury industry
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Creative, proactive, detail-minded and resourceful
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to handle multiple projects at once
Ability to work occasional early mornings, late nights and weekends

RESPONSIBILITIES

Timely, thorough and accurate communication regarding sample requests, hi-res image requests and credit requests
Timely packing, sending and return and credit requests
Training interns to assist PR office with daily logistic needs
Oversee receipt of sample orders
Oversee showroom organization
