Baggu is Hiring an Asst Print Designer (San Francisco/Hybrid)

*$70,000 Base Salary / Exempt (not eligible for overtime)

BAGGU is looking for Assistant Print Designer to join our Product Design team. You’ll work closely with Senior Print Designers to translate concepts into production-ready artwork that aligns with our brand identity. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, creativity, and adaptability are key.

Hybrid: In-Office 3 days per week

REQUIREMENTS

Experience with hand-drawing, painting, or illustration techniques that can be translated into digital prints.
Strong portfolio that demonstrates a sense of color, pattern, and composition.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop required).
Understanding of repeat patterns, color separations, and file prep for production.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines.
Collaborative mindset with openness to feedback and iteration.

Nice to Haves

Familiarity with textile or fashion industry workflows (strike-offs, sampling, production).
Proficiency in Adobe Fresco
Knowledge of color systems (Pantone, TCX, etc.)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the design and development of seasonal print collections, from concept through final artwork.
Prepare and organize print files for development (repeat layouts, colorways, scaling, etc.).
Make revisions to existing artwork based on feedback from the team.
Conceptualize and design original surface patterns - either digitally, or by using traditional painting and sketching skills.
Manage the print artwork process from start to finish, submitting artwork to factories, tracking samples, evaluating submits for color, layout, scale, and execution.
