5 Movies We Want To Live In

Mistress America

by Christiane Salamat

A good movie constructs its own world, and a beautiful movie constructs a world that you want to live in. These films provide us with the opportunity to explore eras, cultures and realities other than our own, and in these bleak times, they can remind us of the hustle and bustle and best parts of living.

We might be stuck at home, but we are lucky to have, quite literally, a buffet of streaming services at our fingertips. The next time it all feels like too much, consider letting yourself fall into another world for the next couple hours, preferably one of the following.
