5 Good TikToks

TikTok is the only social media platform (for now) that not only gets the green light and thumbs up with the grandparents worldwide, but we also applaud gran and gramps for putting in the time, the dance moves and all the cooking tutorials. Never a dull moment when there’s haunted house tours, cats, doggos doing things, the cinematic morning walks to go get coffee, the million ootd’s and so - much - good- food.

Not only does TikTok influence us buy things, but it can also teach us things in ways that all the other social media apps cannot. There’s something for everyone and anything that could be of interest is somehow entertaining.

In this edition we learn something about capitalism (pretend you’re not interested, but you really are), the love of a rescue dog saves the day and a single girl and her many gadgets.

Watch @indexventures on TikTok

Here’s a little lesson in brand psychology, everything really does happen for a reason. Even at Starbucks.

@indexventures I definitely feel less sad when there’s a latte in my hands. (🎤:@hyperfocuspod) #starbucks #mcdonalds #psychology #business #interestingfacts ♬ Blade Runner 2049 - Synthwave Goose

Watch New York apartments TikTok

This NYC apartment tour has me nostalgic, because it’s very similar to my first West Village apartment. I wouldn’t have traded it for a bigger place with roommates. That’s New York.

Watch food TikToks

Always a sucker for easy, fast and bare minimum ingredients, food TikToks is my binge. And 2022 is the year I finally learn how to make potato leek soup.

Watch dog TikToks

We hope that watching this only encourages you to go out and adopt a pet. As humans, we don’t deserve dogs and we certainly don’t deserve the innocence and love from a rescue dog.

Watch day in the life TikToks

Not only do “day in the life” TikToks suck me in, but if it includes a dog, food or cool gadgets, I am sold. This TikTok will confirm yet again how behind you are in your own life.
