It costs nothing to be cool. You don’t need to be wearing the newest viral designer shoes or have the newly released gadget to gain ultimate cool factor. Sometimes you just need to be mysterious. Not like off grid mysterious, although that is also a higher tier of coolness yet bordering on the run. In order to instill this attitude, it takes the self-confidence to believe that you’re enough. You don’t need to be any more perfect, your face doesn’t need to be seen every hour on an Instagram story. You fear the physical and mental burnout that a digital lifestyle eventually brings and that keeps you strong, motivated and okay with coveting your privacy. And your precious time.
Let people wonder about you. They make up stories anyways, that’s what people do on social media, some treat it like their job. But, seriously let people wonder what you’re really like and try to figure out what you do when you’re not around them. The cool ones are fine letting everyone assume something about them, because what others think of you is really none of your business.
