Mini Skincare Review: Two Serums Under $20

DNAMAG mini skincare reviews

In these mini reviews, two products will be presented that have been personally tested completely, in fact these products were photographed as empty bottles. Without going into full background of the brand’s message or product info will just dive into the following points:

  • the product’s star ingredients

  • 1 pro thing about the product

  • 1 con thing about the product

  • Is the price worth the purchase?

  • Would I buy this again?

Good Molecules Discoloration Correcting Serum

GOOD MOLECULES * DISCOLORATION CORRECTING SERUM * $12

Favorite ingredients: Niacinamide (helps skin retain moisture and works on the uneven tones) and tranexamic acid (targets the skin’s discoloration to even it out)

Pro: Affordable

Con: This serum could possibly work, but it will take some time. By the time I got to empty, I didn’t really notice any major differences.

Worth the price? Sure, this price is pretty unbeatable.

Repurchase? An 82% chance, but I would recommend this if your hyperpigmentation is fairly minor.

SKIN&LAB Vitamin C Brightening Serum

SKIN&LAB * VITAMIN C BRIGHTENING SERUM * $19.99

Favorite ingredients: Niacinamide (again retains the skin’s moisture, this is a must-have in serums) and turmeric (skin lightening agent, works great on dark spots)

Pro: It works easily and fast enough, at least for me. Started to notice dark spots lighten after a week and a half.

Con: This is water based and tends to run out super fast.

Worth the price? Absolutely, I normally buy 2 at a time.

Repurchase? I’ve repurchased this serum maybe 4 or 5 times already.
